Preventing Allergy or Sinus Headaches is as Easy as 1-2-3

During fall allergy season, pollens, spores, molds, must and dust can wreak havoc on our sinuses causing sinusitis, colds and those painful sinus headaches.

Paranasal sinuses are four groups of hollow cavities around the nose located above the eyes, between the eyes, beneath the eyes and on each side of the nostrils on the cheeks. Fall allergens can inflame the sensitive tissue around the sinuses, which in turn causes irritation, pressure and pain, often resulting in those excruciating sinus or allergy headaches.

Here are three easy steps you can take to keep yourself and your sinuses healthy so you can prevent those awful sinus headaches:

 Headaches

1. Boost Your Body’s Natural DefenseClear Sinus & Ear is an herbal and homeopathic formula that not only provides safe and effective relief from allergies, hay fever, colds and flu, but it can be taken preventatively for up to three months to bolster your body’s natural immunity to allergens, and therefor allergy triggered sinus headaches. Unlike prescription or over-the-counter medications, Clear Sinus & Ear isn’t habit forming and won’t cause side effects.

2. Create a Safe Zone – Minimize the allergens in your home by replacing your AC and vacuum cleaner filters with high quality HEPA filters. Keep your windows closed, especially when it’s windy. And finally, repair water leaks in your home and address any mold or mildew problems the leaks may have caused.

3. Mind Your Sinuses  - It’s important to keep your sinuses hydrated and flushed in order to prevent inflammation, irritation and pain. So, it’s important to drink plenty of water and use a Neti pot or nasal irrigation system daily to flush your sinuses. You can also invest in a high quality humidifier to use at night in your bedroom to keep your nasal passages and throat moist and hydrated.

Best in Health!
