Menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, irritability, foggy
thinking, insomnia and vaginal dryness are caused by the body trying to adjust
to the normal yet dramatic hormonal fluctuations that occur during the perimenopause
or menopause phase. While there are many medications available to help regulate
hormones, induce sleep and eliminate anxiety, these approaches aren’t always
effective, often have undesirable or dangerous side effects, and/or don’t
support the body’s innate ability to achieve wellness and balance.
Clear Menopause is a great way to find relief from menopause
symptoms and promote the body’s natural ability to heal and find balance. It
contains a unique combination of herbs and homeopathic ingredients that work to
safely and effectively ease menopause symptoms with no dangerous or
uncomfortable side effects.
While Clear Menopause can help ease symptoms it (like any
other remedy) is not a cure-all. I like to use the analogy of a carpenter: even
if you have the finest tools in the world, you can’t effectively repair a home
that has a poor foundation. Likewise, even if you have the most effective
remedies, you won’t find true or lasting relief from menopause symptoms unless
you have a strong foundation (i.e. your hormone and immune systems).
Diet, exercise and lifestyle are three key pillars in
menopause health, and I urge you to learn all you can and make the necessary
changes in these areas to strengthen your foundation. Here are three other areas you may not have
considered that can have a profound effect on your hormone and immune system
health. Following these steps isn’t a quick and easy path, but it’s one that
can help you make the most of menopause and create lasting wellness, balance and
harmony.
1. Face Your Issues
– We all have issues to work through, and avoiding them causes anxiety, fear
and resentment, which in turn cause hormonal and chemical imbalances and a
weakened immune system. Women who suffer the most from premenstrual and
menopause symptoms are often the ones with unresolved issues. Facing issues
after years of avoidance may be hard at first, and may even exacerbate symptoms
for a while, but it will ultimately help the body, mind and spirit achieve
health and balance like nothing else can.
2. Make Sleep a Top
Priority – The quantity and quality of sleep affects our hormonal and
chemical balance – and our overall wellbeing – as much as diet, exercise and
lifestyle, making sleep the fourth key pillar in menopause (and general!)
health. While it takes focus, patience and practice, creating a healthy sleep
regimen will improve your health, happiness and wellbeing immensely…. Not to
mention relieve menopause symptoms caused by hormonal and chemical imbalances.
3. Embrace Alternative
Approaches– Meditation, breathing exercises, yoga, tai chi and acupuncture
have all been reported to help relieve menopause symptoms. While there aren’t
many studies proving this (because there’s little money to be made in promoting
remedies, exercises and treatments that can’t be patented or regulated) there
is no harm in trying these approaches since they cause no harmful side effects.
Just be sure to stick with any new practices like yoga or meditation for at
least a few months since it takes time to experience the full range of benefits
they offer such as relief from menopause symptoms, improved immunity and an
increased sense of peace and well being.
Best in Health!
